Social Services
Social services are a range of public services provided by the government, private, profit and non-profit organizations. These public services aim to create more effective organizations, build stronger communities, and promote equality and opportunity.
Social services include the benefits and facilities such as education, food subsidies, health care, police, fire service, job training and subsidized housing, adoption, community management, policy research, and lobbying.
The government of the country has to deal with the whole population of the country.It has to manage the whole country.In such a situation,it is very diffcult for the government to check that each and every group in the country.So,we can work for the betterment of the groups of people residing in the area surrounding us.
A man is a social being.He must realise that he depends upon others and others depend upon him.He must,therefore,do the social service.
The best way of doing social service is to show love for one's fellow beings.It is our duty to help man in distress,to lend a helping hand to the fallen,to feed the hungry.If we help a poor student in studies or give medical aid to the poor and needy.If we strive to remove poverty and begging from the society,we are doing social service.If we have spare time and money,we should spend them on good deeds.
